Jump start!

Our new favorite toy for her has been the jumper. She loves it! At first she was a bit confused by the whole experience but she soon got the hang of it. I try putting her in there for 20 to 30 minutes twice a day. It allows her time to exercise her legs, work on her balance, and it strengthens her neck allowing better head balance. It also allows time for me to sit back and admire my beautiful baby.

I hear these songs in my sleep. I wonder if she sometimes hears the songs in her head? Either way, I just LOVE this thing! I will admit that it is a bit pricey but I find that the tray helps her not hit the doorway while she leaps about and the musical mat makes it a bit more interesting for her. So, to me $50 is worth it. I've left the music off before and I realized she wasn't jumping as much so I turned the switch on, and voila! I had a jumping baby once more.

There are several different "jumpies" out there in the baby gear market. Ones without a tray and or mat. The choosing of these types of toys is based on preference, availability and truly ones budget. I would recommend doing a little bit of research and taking the time to read reviews on these types of things. Amazon and Target share reviews, oh, and so does Babies R Us so you wouldn't have to look far to find good stories and experiences. It wouldn't hurt to write a review yourself. It's a great way to "give back" to the new and old parent community.

There she is! This is a much as she slows down when on her jumpy. <3

  1. I'm gonna give this thing a try. My sister has one for my nephew and he love's the thing. I'm what u call a paranoid crazy mommy. My sister has proven it to me that thing doesn't just all of a sudden fall off. I may put padding all around her just in case hehe.

  2. That's so funny. I know what you mean though, I went through that myself. Trust me you're going to LOVE it maybe more than your little one. :0)
